Blueberry 2.0 Suggestions

Hello All,

As the completion of Blueberry 2.0 draws near, we are looking for some suggestions to help round it out. The CSS is mostly updated for the new theme, so you can view it by just looking over the site. There are no enormous visual changes, mainly some typography and highlights.

A quick run down of the current features:

  • Custom alerts directly below the header, highlighted with red or yellow.
  • Updated and cleaner CSS, improving spacing, typography, widgets, and fixing some IE bugs.
  • Ability to enable/disable sidebar on post pages.
  • Added a toolbox instead of the “Edit Post Link.” This toolbox has the links Add Post, Add Page, Quick Edit, Edit This. The quick edit is not the same as what is in the WP 2.7 admin. It creates a thick box popup/overlay that allows you to make changes to your post and save them quickly and without having to go into the admin.

Planned features before official release:

  • Ability to set the sidebar on the left or right.
  • The ability to choose your theme color, or create your own color combinations.
  • Remember me feature, if you login to your blog, but are logged out at a later point, you will be prompted to login with an alert. This can be disabled in the admin.

Another question we have is what to do, if anything, with the search box.

All suggestions are welcome, please put them in the comments below. Also, if we implement your suggestions we’ll be sure to give you credits in the CSS file.

Thanks!
